"Birds Over Conimicut Point Dunes"
oil  8x10" and framed

My little oil represents a favorite
moment during walks along the beach
and nearby dunes of Narragansett
Bay, near where I live. When passers
by come too near, birds rise up, and
hover, and descend when passers by
come too near. Along the beach,
feeding in the tide, the various
waterfowl quckly scurry away as well. I
don't intend to disturb them, but they
are instictively wary, probably with
good reason. A lovely sight though,
and if you look close, you can see a
nice variety of the gulls, plover and
occasional heron that inhabit every
seaside.
