Autumn by a Pond

One of several views of a pond and
marshland near where I live in Rhode
Island. The painting was purchased at
the Novemeber-December holiday
"Little Picture Show" at the Providence
Art Club. By chance, just a few
moments later, I happened to meet
woman who bought it. She came into
my studio next door during our open
visiting hours. I was, as always, very
complimented by her buying the litte
oil, and she was pleased to have the
chance to meet the person who
painted it. I loved doing the little scene,
and after meeting her, am hopeful she
will share in the lovely moment of
bright sunlit fall leaves above clouds
reflected in a pond.
