Another of my annual birthday self-portraits,
done this time as a monotype. I painted the
image of myself in watercolor paint on a
plexiglass plate, a piece of damped paper
was placed on it, then both were rolled
thgether through the press, printing the
image. The reference I used to draw the
picture of myself was the little photo on my
BJ's discount department store identification
card. Everything can be grist for the mill of
art.
