Fenceposts in a Snowstorm

A seasonal favorite of mine is to paint
winter snow scenes, and this is part of
a series of such blizzardy paintings I've
done this year. You are intended to
feel the cold, and come across a fence
blocking your way on a trip walking,
skiiing, or snowshoeing into the woods.
On display at Spring Bull Gallery in
Newport for their annual winter holiday
"petite oeurves" show, it sold to a
fellow artist I very much admire. Many
